WADDUP, EVERYONE!!
Week 4 was a pretty easy going week, not a ton happened. It was a pretty hard week in the language department though!! Our teachers threw SOOO many more conjugations at us this week. Conjugating verbs, nouns, past tense, future, and present tense. It's so weird because every single noun has a gender assigned to it, and you have to conjugate it according to its gender. So, for example, a chair can legit be a feminine object, and you have to conjugate it like so. It's WACK hahaha. The hardest part is now that we "know" this grammar, we have to speak that way. AND IT'S SO HARD TO CONJUGATE ON THE FLY hahah. We, also, aren't allowed to bring Russian notes into any more of our lessons we teach. It's really becoming a grind!! haha. But, we're staying strong!!We were all getting hyped here at the MTC because we thought President Nelson was coming to give the Tuesday devotional, (since he was giving a devotional that Tuesday at BYU), but he didn't end up coming. It was a little upsetting, but we still were given a great devotional!! So, everything was good haha.
President Russell M. Nelson
Little fun story for the week. We tried to have a little fun before class, so we got in an elevator and brought like 4 chairs, a table, and a plant in it, and started a "study" session in the elevator, as people called it up and down to pick them up 😂😂😂 A lot of the teachers that got on the elevator actually thought it was so funny, (we definitely did). But, another teacher did not find it humorous... we moved the study session spot after that. It was an awkward elevator ride up with her in it 😂😂 People will sometimes put stuff in the elevator though and call it up to each floor without anyone even in it, it's hilarious haha. 😂😂That's it for the week!! Love you all!!Elder Wilde
